Key concept designs for user experience updates to highly-utilized workflows to acquire stakeholder buy-in.
A massive program for a massive client
One of the largest international companies in the crop science space approached our team to improve the Loyalty Rewards experience for their growers. They knew that their existing users were overall not satisfied with the current experience, and they wanted to update the digital journey to better meet growers’ expectations. I led the charge on revamping the entire digital footprint of this program, but I want to focus on a key touchpoint: the rewards calculator.
I worked closely with a team of three other designers, our strategy team, and our technology team to design, develop, and implement this tool.
A Rewarding Experience
After our research showed that 80% of users drop off after the first step of the existing calculator, we were determined to create an experience that encouraged a low bounce rate. We wanted to remove the barrier of a multi-page process that hid information. I designed a one-page experience that allowed for users to see the following steps, with a sticky side bar that kept the a real-time running total.
